A graduate of the Lyon School of Architecture, Maria Ramos also followed a dual engineer-architect course, which allows her to combine an artistic and technical approach to architecture. After several years of experience in different architectural agencies in Lyon, Grenoble, Paris and Barcelona, she founded her own agency in 2012. Her practice is based on an approach that she defines as Global Thinking Architecture, based on three axes essential: the individual, the environment and reality.
The individual is at the heart of each project. Maria Ramos takes care to understand the specific needs and expectations of her clients, taking into account their lifestyle, the comfort of users and the evolution of their needs over time. Each project is tailor-made, based on the particularities of each request.
The environment is a key dimension of her work. She strives to create a harmonious relationship between the building and its site. This requires reflection on the location, landscape integration, orientation and contribution of the project to public space.
