Atelier PAPYR (Petite Architecture Pyrénéenne) is the result of a collaboration between two friends and architects, Jérémy Lay and Théo Navarro, both of whom are certified project managers.
Their hearts alternate between the Pyrenees and Canada. Their trips across the Atlantic, along with their other architectural travels, have strongly influenced them. These influences can be felt in their design culture as well as in the atmosphere they bring to their projects. Today, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, Atelier PAPYR has chosen to combine their experience and expertise to bring small-scale projects to life.
With an eye for detail, this aspect of their work allows them to push their thinking as much in the design as in the construction, realization and repurposing of an architectural project. For Atelier PAPYR, the act of building is not insignificant; it is a commitment over time to the environment in which it is located. In this sense, their approach to architecture involves sustainable design combined with the use of local and organic materials.
Atelier PAPYR works designing new construction, renovation and extension, primarily in the residential sector. These architects assure a complete conception of a project, from the first sketches, and offer a logical answer to the aesthetic, technical and functional problems.
Committed to providing their clients with personalised support, Jérémy Lay and Théo Navarro participate in all stages of the project, from the design phase to site supervision, carrying out projects that reflect their values of functionality, humility, sustainability and respect for the Pyrenean landscape.
