Based in Strasbourg, Mato Architecte was created by Mérex Ahounou, a DE-HMONP architect (state-qualified architect) who graduated in 2012, after several years of experience in Strasbourg architectural firms. The main programmes addressed are housing (collective and individual), as well as tertiary buildings (offices, storage).
A house must reflect the image of those who live in it: in each project he tackles, Mérex Ahounou is driven by the search for the singularity of the response to be proposed. To achieve this, the reflections are always carried out in collaboration with the client so that he is fully involved. This involvement is undoubtedly important because it is the only way for the client to be at one with the project and to ensure that the architect achieves the objectives previously set.
