Graduated in 2014 from the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve in Tournai (formerly Institut Saint-Luc Tournai), Florent MICHEL has been trying since his higher studies to enrich his professional practice through travel, whether local or further afield. , travel and more particularly the discovery of urban fabrics and its users fascinates him and has since participated in the permanent evolution of his practice as an architect.

After his diploma, he decided to emigrate to Belgium in the city of Charleroi, a city scarred by its industrial past in complete renaissance, full of surprises and encounters in which his dynamism put itself at the service of the RESERVOIR A architectural office, during nearly 5 years he went from beginner architect to project manager on projects of varied scales and programs, affecting the public and private sectors, from the town planning of public spaces to object design. There he officially validated his training with the Order of Belgian Architects under the direction of his internship supervisor Julien DAILLY, and can now practice the profession in complete independence.

In 2017, he formed and developed with two of his former study classmates, Florian MASSON and Antoine KOWALCZYK, the BAMHAM collective whose main objective is to give pride of place to craftsmanship by collaborating on each project with various partners. , carpenter, gardener, artist, graphic designer... in order to personalize and get as close as possible to the expectations of our customers by favoring the intrinsic characteristics of raw materials in order to pursue a timeless and durable aesthetic. For several years he developed the activity of the collective while continuing its Carolo collaboration between Lille, Brussels and Charleroi.

On his permanent return to Lille in 2020, in parallel with the projects monitored by the collective, he began a new collaboration with the architecture workshop of Antoine LANDRE in Marcq-en-Barœul then in Templeuve-en-Pévèle with whom he collaborates on private housing projects ranging from new houses, renovations of old buildings and extensions but also on small ERP programs mainly in the medical field.
