After obtaining her Architectural Engineer Diploma, Sophie CHRISTODOULOU first worked in an architectural firm in Spain, called Singular Studio, in which she was mainly responsible for new construction projects, notably luxury villas on the seafronts. She takes care of customer specifications, right through to the choice of materials, including the administrative part (submission of files, permits, etc.)
She learned to consider the outdoor space as an extension of the building by deepening her studies on landscape architecture with places of relaxation, including green spaces, swimming pools and terraces. This very enriching first experience also allowed him to discover know-how specific to the country.
She continued her journey in France, accepting a position within the company LVD Energie, a subsidiary of the La Varappe group. The product here is very different and innovative, it involves the rehabilitation of maritime containers, all produced by back-to-work staff. After 5 years in this company, she learned to design very varied projects, such as social housing, educational establishments, modules welcoming vacationers but also office spaces.
Enjoying a certain autonomy, she manages projects by directing each stage from design to reception. In an organized manner, she coordinates the work of those involved (control office, VRD, structural office, etc.) always respecting the constraints linked to the container product and a specific manufacturing process. She responds to public procurement on modular products by adapting requests to catalogs or creating new modules. She trains within a multidisciplinary and professional team.
This experience allowed him to collaborate with numerous architectural firms, adapting to their working method and architectural language. It also allowed her to acquire skills in a wide field of activity, both technical, administrative and regulatory.
In parallel with her position at LVD Energie, she works on the renovation of interior spaces for which she produces ambient plans and sketches, the consultation file and site monitoring.
She subsequently worked in the Syla Conception firm on large projects, notably camping projects with aquatic spaces, but also wooden constructions such as chalets and Light Leisure Housing. Her tasks are varied, ranging from filing permits to execution plans, etc.
She created Expression Bâtie Studio to be able to use her experience to carry out your projects.
