Stéphane Coydon is an architect who earned his degree from ENSAIS in 1999. He then worked for nearly four years with the firm Weber and Keiling, two well-known Strasbourg architects. He launched his business as a freelance architect after winning the European architecture and urban planning award Europan 7. Stéphane Coydon works on projects ranging from urban renewal to project management for public amenities, to residential redevelopments and scenography.
Stéphane Coydon himself with qualified partners who regularly contribute to projects and enrich them with their outside view and complementary perspective. The passionate architect is committed to promoting dialogue and exchange with everyone involved. He also focuses on integrating technical and structural factors, as well as aesthetic, from the start.
Stéphane Coydon is an architect concerned with the environment and the world around him. He pursued an in-depth training with the environmental and energy association Ajena, allowing him to apply his concern for the environment in a theoretical and practical framework, an approach he now incorporates into each of his projects. Beyond functional and spatial considerations, Stéphane Coydon strives to create long-lasting architecture that is both timeless and contemporary. He devotes particular attention to ensuring that the architecture fits into its surroundings, as well as to provide all the necessary comfort for its users.
Each project represents a new challenge, whatever the scale, and is met with a team effort, with each member offering their contribution. This work methodology aims to bring together each person’s strengths, with a view to creating an enduring, relevant design.
Stéphane Coydon’s work and methods have been recognised in 2007, when he received the award for young urban planners, in 2013 with an award for wood construction, and most recently in 2020 by the Envirobat Grand Est organisation.
